Archers Steelwork and Cladding successfully complete another transfer steel frame for a new build development of 52, 1 & 2 bed apartments overlooking the canal in Birmingham’s famous Gun Quarter.

This area of Birmingham is becoming one of the most sought after locations for residential city living. Situated close to the heart of the city centre with the history of Birmingham’s gun manufacturing revolution on its doorstep. The site benefits from canal frontage and traditional Birmingham city street living.

Archers Steelwork and Cladding designed support for the fusion system above the transfer frame with cassette style pre formed flooring inserted within the steel depth zone. Archers also had to design details of how to carry external face of brickwork through different levels.

Archers Steelwork and Cladding team are pleased to say the steel frame had no remedial works. With heavy duty connections as shown in some of the photos there was no room for error.
