This project was logistically challenging navigating 20tonnes of steelwork per load on articulated trailers through very tight access routes to a school on top of Truro Hill. The Sports Hall required specialist rafters to reduce weight but still be capable of spanning the distance. We used cambered Cellular Beams to achieve this. Erection of the Sports Hall required two cranes working in tandem due to span of the building. We are pleased to say all steelwork erected with no snagging.
