Archers Steelwork and Cladding are proud to be a part of the new Carter’s Green Medical Centre, on the site of the existing Sandwell General Hospital.

Located within the Sandwell Hospital site, the new purpose built facility will house twenty-two modern clinical rooms offering consulting and treatment space across two floors, including an adjacent Pharmacy.

With an anticipated completion, date of November 2020 this building is the result of several years of discussion and planning. It represents a significant investment to improve the facilities available to the local community.

Archers Steelwork and Cladding carried out the supply and installation of Structural Steelwork, Landing Structural Decking & installation of roof purlins. Majority of the erection was off the footprint due to a tunnel running through the centre of the site linking the building to the hospital.

This intern restricted access/ lifting equipment manoeuvrability but not a problem for our site team.

We are pleased to say all Steelwork is up and looks great.

Archers often undertake these packages for our client to relieve the interface between trades.

Hi Peter,

As briefly discussed, Rhino will install the stairs on Thursday 13^th February however we will require your operatives on site on Friday 14^th to reinstate the steels.

Grant (MSD) is then commencing on Monday 17^th February 2020.
