About Archers Steelwork and Cladding
At Archers we offer a complete service, from Design, Manufacture, through to installation within the Structural Steel Industry. In addition to the structural steel service Archers have the in-house ability to undertake Cladding design, supply and installation packages as required.
Archers were honoured when asked to work outside of the United Kingdom on a variety of contracts, which include; Roda JC FC in Holland, Rossau Dam Project in St Lucia and Hartwall Stadium in Finland, Military docklands Jetty in the Falklands and Electronic Display Screens all over Europe.
We are approved contractors to the following bodies, (achieved during previous contracts) Powergen, Seven Trent Water Authority, South East Electricity Substation Alliance, Crossrail, Ministry of Defence Property Service Agency, Birmingham Airport, Liverpool Airport as well as many others. Major contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Laing O’ Rourke, Norwest Holst, Bluestone, Millers, Wates and many more have been or are currently included in our supply.

Operating with multiple long standing Design offices qualified to Bsc CEng MIStructE, MEng (Hons) CEng MIStructE providing drawings modeled and detailed using StruCAD / TrueCAD / AutoCAD / TEKLA/ IFC/ PDF facilities.
Site surveys are undertaken utilizing latest electronic survey equipment in Tekla or DWG Format.
Qualifications, Health & Safety and Insurances
Installation operatives are mostly directly employed and all are versed in RIDOR accident reporting methods, CDM regulations and carry current CITB / CPCS / CSCS certification for use of plant apparatus etc. We also have site personnel trained to SMSTS and SSSTS. Site welders also hold current coding certification.
Our company carries public and employers liability insurance with £5 million and £10 million indemnity respectively.
